At the end of this month I am going to my first spanking party. This has surely been a year of firsts for me. First birthday spanking, and my first spanking party, I will share other firsts in a different post. But the spanking party brings up a really interesting issue for me.
Public Spanking or Strictly Private Spanking?
First of all I am not going to this party to be punished. I would never enjoy a public punishment spanking. And the word party does not lend itself to punishment, it is definitely play, Just Because, sensual, or fun spanking.
This party is sponsored by Crimson Moon in Chicago. You can play publicly in the social room or privately in hotel rooms. So I have been thinking a great deal about the idea of having my bottom bared in front of others while I am spanked. This certainly takes some consideration especially considering my body is not one that people would ever line up to look at. But, hey, its the only one I have.
Now on the side of public spankings, I am extremely adventurous and I don't embarrass easily. I think that is because I have spent so much hospital time. Almost any health care worker in the town I live in has seen me in the buff. I have become rather desensitized. Besides, I will admit to a sort of naughty excitement at the thought of being spanked in front of others. And I have a feeling I will barely realize any one is watching once the spanking begins. Those wild endorphins really take me away. Besides if you are in public there is less chance for anyone to do anything inappropriate.
Ok now let's look at private spanking. It is more intimate to be with just one person and perhaps opens up options for more sensual possibilities. When I say sensual I mean sensual sensation, not having sex with the men I play with. And it does give you a chance to talk and get to know the other person better, leaving open the possibility for friendships to develop which is one of the reasons I am attending the party.
In any case I know I will certainly agree to bare bottom spanking, I can't imagine any other way. I mean a swat on the back of your skirt is one thing but a whole spanking over clothing, even panties seems sort of unnatural for me.
So I am sure I will be pondering this until the party comes along. The possibilities are delicious no matter what I decide. OTK, over pillows, over a spanking bench....yes, delicious is the right word.
